Introduction: In developing countries and for that matter in Ghana, most teenagers become mothers in their teens due to number of reason such as poverty, school drop outs, drug use and abuse to mention but a few.
This is mostly occurred in rural and deprived communities and villages, urban poor communities and in densely populated cities where many young people are used for labour by their so called labour masters. This behavior result to high sexually transmitted infections among the teenagers, high rate of still birth among teen agers as most do not attend pre-natal care during their pregnancies, babies carrying babies without proper and adequate parental guidance and responsibilities producing many street children forming drug groups, crime groups and other social vices.
